  • What do I need to get started with TOPGB?
    Equipment may vary from client to client, but generally all that is needed is a desktop or laptop with an ethernet connection, a USB headset, and a hard-wired telephone and headset combination. You will also need a hard-wired internet connection.
  • What will I be doing as an agent with TOPGB?
    As a Customer Support Professional, it will be your job to answer incoming calls from customers to take orders, answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems, and provide information. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities + Answer calls and responds to emails + Handle customer inquiries both telephonically and by email + Research required information using available resources + Manage and resolve customer complaints + Provide customers with product and service information + Enter new customer information into client systems + Update existing customer information + Process orders, forms, and applications + Identify and escalate priority issues + Route calls to the appropriate resource + Follow-up customer calls where necessary + Document all call information according to standard operating procedures (when necessary)
  • How will I get paid?
    You will be considered an Independent Contractor. TOPGB pays on a bi-monthly basis via direct deposit.
  • What does it mean to be an Independent Contractor?
    “An independent contractor is a self-employed person or entity contracted to perform work for—or provide services to—another entity as a non-employee.” - https://www.investopedia.com/terms/i/independent-contractor.asp As an Independent Contractor, you are responsible for all costs pertaining to the business. This includes office equipment, certification courses, taxes, etc. Some of these expenses are tax-deductible. Make sure you speak with an accountant to understand what expenses are tax-deductible.
  • Who is Arise Virtual Solutions?
    Arise Virtual Solutions is a virtual technology and support platform which connects world-class brands to service partners on Arise. These world-class brands outsource their customer support, connecting them to us. As a service partner, I will support you through the process of enrolling with a client to provide additional resources as necessary.
  • Can I use a wireless device to service clients?
    No. All equipment must be hard-wired while servicing. Wireless devices, such as mobile phones or tablets, are only used for multifactor authentication when signing onto some client systems.
  • Whom do I work for?
    As an Independent Contractor, you work for yourself (self-employed) with TOPGB and Arise Virtual Solutions.
  • Where can I purchase home office equipment?
    We recommend purchasing your equipment from Work-At-Home Equipment Solutions (WAHES). They specialize in all equipment for remote/Arise Virtual Solutions agents. https://wahequipmentsolutions.com?sca_ref=1943243.yhUNhDiFxS You can also purchase equipment from Amazon.
  • What is the pay rate?
    Pay can range from $8.50-to $15 depending on the client. Some clients also have incentives including increased pay.
  • Is this part-time or full-time?
    You are not considered an employee of The Office of Pamela G. Bolden, LLC (TOPGB). You are an Independent Contractor. You choose how much you work as long as you meet a client’s minimum work hours.
